ITO has recently undergone a strategic transformation under new management and is the fastest-growing IT service provider in the Cayman Islands. Due to our expansion, we are inviting applications for the position of Senior Sales Consultant.

 

Job Summary:

The Senior Sales Consultant is a client-facing, revenue generating role with Enterprise Sales, Service Delivery Management and Account Management responsibilities for Enterprise clients in the region.

 

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities are  

  • The ongoing solicitation of sales of Enterprise Solutions (e.g. Servers, Storage and Networking products) to Enterprise Clients in the Cayman Islands and the English-speaking Caribbean.

  • Responsibility for the sale of IT Projects, IT support contracts and IT Security related solutions and services to existing and prospective Enterprise clients

  • To build relationships with key stakeholders within prospective Clients and act as a trusted advisor, delivering pre-sales advice and a business case for supporting the Sales cycle of the solutions being proposed.

  • Suited to someone who is independent and a self-starter, and is 100% comfortable hunting for new business

  • Suited to someone who is happy to hold multiple client meetings per week to progress new leads and sales with prospective clients.

The Company may from time to time require the Employee to attend various social functions and a limited amount of International travel should be expected.

 

What You’ll Need:

Qualifications and experience

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience of selling DELL and HPE Storage & Server hardware.

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience of selling VMware and Microsoft software.

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience of selling Wired and Wireless Network Solutions from Cisco or HPE Aruba.

  • Previous experience in selling IT Managed Services (MSP), IT Managed Security Services (MSSP), Managed SIEM, IT Projects and IT Support services.

  • Previous experience of working for a Consultancy firm or Value-Added Reseller

  • Vendor Sales Certifications from HPE, DELL, VMWare, Microsoft, Veeam, CISCO or Nutanix

  • Previous experience of selling Nutanix or other hyper-converged systems

  • Previous experience of selling Exagrid storage solutions.

  • Previous experience of selling Veeam Backup solutions.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills and experience of selling Enterprise Hardware and Software

  • Strong pre-sales background and confidence with dealing with clients at all levels

  • Excellent negotiation skills and sound business acumen

  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and other departments

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools
