IT Outsource Ltd ("ITO") is a full-service IT Consultancy and Business Solutions firm, based in the Cayman Islands and has been providing technology solutions for clients in the English-speaking Caribbean since 2004.

ITO has recently undergone a strategic transformation under new management and is the fastest-growing IT service provider in the Cayman Islands. Due to our expansion, we are inviting applications for the position of Senior Technical Specialist.

 

Job Summary: 

The Senior Technical Specialist will lead technical projects, provide expert guidance and support, and drive innovation within the organisation's technical architecture.

The successful candidate will also provide 2nd/3rd line technical support to our clients and manage IT support escalations from the Service Desk.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage technical projects from conception to completion.

  • Provide expert technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to drive innovation within the company.

  • Collaborate with Technical Architects and others to ensure project alignment with business objectives.

  • Develop and implement best practices for technical processes and procedures.

 

What You‘ll Need:

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (3 years minimum) as a Technical Specialist or in a similar role.

  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing technical teams.

  • Required vendor certifications: Microsoft MCSE, Microsoft Azure, Cisco Meraki, CCNA, VMware, Fortinet.

  • In-depth knowledge of technical architecture and infrastructure.

Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Proficiency in relevant technical tools and software.

  • Previous experience working for a consultancy firm or value-added reseller.
